Glabor for selling Sura into slavery, or Batiatus for lying to Spartacus and then having his wife killed. I don't know who Spartacus should hate more at this point. Keeping them subservient with the hope of freedom while feeding his own lust for power. He's a tyrant who rules over his slaves with lies and false hopes. He's no longer an honorable man trying to maintain a noble Ludus.
With Batiatus revealed as the mastermind behind Sura's death, every scene he's in feels different than episodes prior.
He's a great character and its good to see his back story coming to the forefront a little more. It's a terrible turn for the generally goodhearted Varro. Unfortunately, she reveals that she is carrying another man's child. The death of Sura prompts him to send a letter to his own wife and to his surprise she shows up soon after with their child. Still, it gave Spartacus an opportunity to blow up some steam, and for now, take out his vengeance on someone – anyone. It was surprising to see Spartacus get involved in Pietros' affairs since we haven't really seen the two interact that much previously. With Barca now 'free,' poor Pietros is left all alone to fend for himself, and he has become easy prey now that his former lover isn't around to protect him.
